Plans, limits and billing

What each plan includes, how the monthly limits are counted, and how to change or cancel your plan.

Idex has four flat plans. There are no credits, and Idex never bills beyond your plan. Billing goes through Shopify, in US dollars.

The plans

PlanPriceProducts fixed a monthQuestions trackedAssistants
Free$0255, monthlyChatGPT
Starter$19 a month50025, weeklyChatGPT and Gemini
Growth$49 a monthUnlimited (fair use, 5,000)75, weeklyChatGPT and Gemini
Scale$129 a monthUnlimited (fair use, 5,000)200, weekly, plus daily re-checksChatGPT and Gemini

Every plan includes AI Revenue, the full Readiness Audit, AI crawler access and IndexNow for Bing.

Yearly billing gives you two months free. Your first paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

How the fix limit is counted

  • The limit counts products, not fixes. A product counts once a month, however many of its fixes you approve.
  • A product counts when you approve a fix for it, and undoing the fix doesn’t give it back. Fixes you skip or that fail don’t count.
  • The count starts again on the 1st of each month (UTC).
  • When you approve more products than your plan has left, Idex approves your best sellers first (by units sold in the last 60 days), then the most recently edited products. The rest wait in Fix Studio.

How the question limit works

You can keep up to 200 buyer questions on any plan. Your plan tracks the first ticked questions in your list: 5 on Free, 25 on Starter, 75 on Growth and 200 on Scale. Reorder the list to choose which ones. See Buyer questions.

Change or cancel your plan

Open Plan & usage in Idex and choose Change plan, or a plan’s button. Shopify’s plan page opens, and Shopify handles the subscription. When you come back, Idex shows your new plan.

To stop paying, choose the Free plan on Shopify’s plan page. Uninstalling Idex also ends the subscription. If a change is scheduled, Plan & usage shows the date it takes effect.

What happens when you downgrade

  • Nothing is deleted.
  • Questions past the new plan’s limit stay in your list, but they aren’t asked.
  • Assistants that aren’t on the new plan stop being asked.
  • Changes already made to your products stay as they are.
